Pipe & Drape Setup Instructions

This page provides step by step instructions for setting up the pipe and drape rented from Vancouver Projector Rentals.

Notes:

  • No tools required, however you may need a ladder to adjust the high.
  • It ca be done by 1 person, however it gets much easier with 2 peoples
  • The base blase is heavy, be careful to not drop it and get hurt or damage the floor
  • If you’re renting more than one section of pipe and drape (for example, 2 sections), you will receive 4 upright poles and 3 crossbars.

Parts:

  • Baseplates and Base Pin
  • Extendable Upright Bar (8′ to 14′ tall)
  • Extendable Crossbar (8′ to 14′ long)

Step by Step on how to setup pipe drape for events

  • Fasten the base pin to the base plate. Unscrew the fastener from the base of the pin. Insert the screw into the appropriate hole on the base and secure the pin by tightening it.

  • Place the base plates at the desired distance
  • Secure the upright poles onto the base pins, ensuring they are safe and stable.

  • Drape the fabric over the crossbars (extend the crossbars if needed)
  • Insert the crossbar hooks into the upright pole holes

  • Adjust the height of the upright poles.
