Setup Instructions for DJ Moving Head Light

Fixture Parts

  • 1 x DJ/Disco Moving Head light unit
  • 1 x Power Cable

Safety Precautions

Power and Voltage:

  • Always check that you’re connecting to the correct voltage. Make sure the voltage you use doesn’t exceed what’s listed on the fixture’s sticker.

Environment: 

  • This fixture is for indoor use only. Don’t use it outdoors or expose it to moisture.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the unit while it’s in use.
  • Install the unit in a well-ventilated area, at least 50 cm away from other surfaces. Don’t block any ventilation slots.
  • Since this is a moving head fixture, ensure nothing obstructs its movement to prevent damage.

Warning:

  • Disconnect the power before doing any maintenance.
  • Don’t operate the fixture if the temperature exceeds 40°C.
  • Avoid looking directly into the light source when it’s on.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  • If there’s a serious problem, stop using the unit immediately. Don’t try to fix it yourself.

Installation and Transport:

  • Place the fixture on the floor (or any solid surface) in the desired location.
  • Use the bracket/clamp to hang the light on a T-bar, truss, or any suitable overhead structure (bracket/clamp not included)
  • Make sure the power cord is never pinched or damaged.
  • Don’t disconnect the power cord by pulling on it.
  • Never carry the fixture by the cord. Hold the chassis instead.

Setup Instructions

    1. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the light and a power outlet. 
  • The fixture will start in its default mode or the last selected Mode.

Control Panel Functions

Four touch buttons are under the LED Alpha-numerical display: Menu, Down, Up, and Enter

    1. MENU: Navigate through the menu selection or return to the previous menu
    2. UP: Press [UP] through the menu list to increase/change the value of the current function.
    3. DOWN: Press [DOWN] through the menu list to increase/change the value of the current function.
    4. ENTER: Confirm and save settings.

How to use MENU functions from Table 1

SInd – Master/Slave Mode (DMX)

  1. Press MENU to get to Slnd – press the UP or DOWN button to select the value.
  2. Select from Auto, Sh 1, Sh 2 to select the value.
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

Slnd – Show Mode Setting

  1. Press MENU to get to Slnd then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Press the UP or DOWN button to select the value.
  3. Select the Sh 1, Sh 2, Sh 3 or Sh 4 mode. 
  4. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

SoUd Sound Control Mode

  1. Press MENU to get to Slnd, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Then press On (sound control function on) or OFF (sound control off) mode.
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

Send – Sound Control Sensitivity

  1. Press the MENU button to display [Send] on the display, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Press the down or up button to select the voice sensitivity (1-100].
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

bLnd – Closed Light

  1. Press MENU to get to bLnd, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Then press the DOWN or UP button to select the ( no ] (normal) or ( yes ] (closethe lighting) mode
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

LED – Set whether the LED display Is always on

    1. Press MENU to get to LED, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  • Then press ENTER button to enter. 
  1. Press the DOWN or UP button to select the on (LED d1~play 1s always on) or I oFF] (After the device function setting is completed, the LED display 1s turned off after 2 minutes)
  2. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

dlSP – Normal Display / Inverted Display

    1. Press MENU to get to LED, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  • Then press ENTER button to enter. 
  1. Press the DOWN or UP button to select the (no] (normal display) or I yes I (Inverted display) mode
  2. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

rPAnPan Inversion

  1. Press MENU to get to rPAn, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Then press the DOWN or UP button to select the NO or YES mode
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

rtIL – Tilt Inversion

  1. Press MENU to get to rtIL, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Then press the DOWN or UP button to select the NO or YES mode
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.

rESt – Fixture Reset

  1. Press MENU to get to rESt, then press the ENTER button to enter.
  2. Then press the DOWN or UP button to select rSt mode.
  3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.
